There are two likelihoods in this case.
One is that he probably thought it was Jidenna himself or his sympathy got sparked because he is a namesake to the Nigerian-American artiste, but even I am not buying this.
So it is most likely that he indeed did what he did, out of the kindness of his heart, but what that also did was put him back in the news, in our faces, making him talked-about, once again.
It all started when a hopeful Twitter user tweeted this:
