Nairabox, a dynamic and first of its kind social digital wallet on Tuesday, announced multiple award winning artiste and Effyzzie Music Group’s Yemi Alade as well as label mate, Geniuzz as its new ambassadors.

The music stars were unveiled in a short ceremony even as the Nairabox team, Yemi and Geniuzz answered all the questions about the application posed by pressmen.

The two acts, who will be the face of the brand, highlighted the various awesome features that differentiates Nairabox from any other payment solution.

Particularly, Yemi was enthusiastic about the fact that the app allows payment for goods and services even when the user is offline and not connected to the internet.

She said, “Everything is happening online right now, technology is the future and Nairabox is the future, you don’t need physical cash, you can buy movie tickets, purchase airtime, make bill payments and transfer cash to your kids in school…The best part about it is that it operates all over the country and you don’t need data.”

Asked about what her best feature on Nairabox is, Yemi said, “Now I can easily pay for my mother’s DSTV subscription no matter where I am.”

Geniuzz however, marveled at the user friendly interface of the application even as he declared quite elatedly that he would not need to move around with cash anymore because “Nairabox got me covered.”

Speaking on why Yemi and Genuizz were both approached by the brand, the Nairabox team said the duo represented what the brand stands for with their vibrant, youth oriented and original styles.

Nairabox allows users to instantly make transactions with ease anytime on their devices without hidden charges.

It also lets users make transactions even when internet is down or unavailable- the transaction is stored locally and automatically synchronized to the user’s account when connected to the internet again.
