Militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers, in the wee hours of Saturday, blew up oil pipelines in the South south region.
According to a tweet by the militant group, the act of vandalism was carried out at about 2:15am.

While this incident is yet to be confirmed, it is pertinent to add that this group has in the past made good its promise to wage war against the federal government and oil companies in the region.
