The Federal Government on Tuesday assured that Nigeria will come out of recession in 2017.
According to a statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations in the Office of the SGF, Bolaji Adebiyi, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir David Lawal, expressed this optimism when he received a delegation from the Methodist Church of Nigeria led by the Archbishop of Abuja, the Most Reverend Joseph Oche Job.
Lawal stated that “President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to revamp the economy and take the nation out of recession next year (2017).”
He said the President was determined to improve national security, fight corruption and improve the economy.
