Samuel Okorie, a 29-year-old Nigerian living in Brookline, Pennsylvania, has been arrested by the police for assaulting a 21-year-old woman and abducting her from a West Liberty Avenue gas station.

Okorie, who lives in the 1600-block of Fallowfield Avenue, was reportedly taken into custody on Sunday following the incident.

Reports indicate that the suspect approached the girl from behind at the service station, grabbed her cell phone and pushed her into some nearby bush where he sexually assaulted her.

Then, the criminal complaint reports he allegedly dragged her to his home where another sexual assault took place. She was eventually able to escape, and then ran up the street to a neighbor’s home, frantically knocking on her door.

The homeowner, who did not want to be identified, said the victim came running to her door Sunday morning as she was getting ready to go to church.

According to her, the girl “had her shoes in her hands and was shaking uncontrollably, screaming, ‘Help me! Help me!’”

“The girl started crying louder and louder, yelling, ‘He raped me and he’s going to come and get me,’” the neighbor said.

The woman called 911 immediately, and police were soon on the scene.

Okorie is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on $150,000 straight cash bail. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled next week.
