The Inspector-General of Police, MD Abubakar, has today, the 22nd of November, ordered the re-deployment of  5 assistant Inspector Generals (AIG) and 2 commissioner of Police (CP).

The Senior Police Officers redeployed include the former CP, Anambra State, AIG Ballah M. Nasarawa who was recently promoted Assistant Inspector-General of Police and has now been posted as the AIG in charge of Zone 9, Umuahia .

Other affected Senior Officers include David Omojola (AIG), Tambari Yabo Mohammed (AIG), Edgar T. Nanakumo (AIG), Mohammed J. Gana (AIG) and Saidu Madawaki, a commissioner of Police.

The posting is with immediate effect.
