Nigerian troops kill over 20 insurgents, retrieve Boko Haram “attack list” in latest operation

In its latest offensive against Boko Haram insurgents, the Nigerian military has revealed that it has killed over 20 terrorists in an operation in Hildi, Balmo and Lame forests in Adamawa state.

The military, which made the disclosure via a series of tweets, also revealed that some documents including sketches, lists of communities apparently slated for attack were recovered from the fleeing terrorists.

The troops also tweeted that it recovered rifles, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, bows and arrows and motorcycles from the insurgents, several of who lost their lives and got wounded in the offensive.

6 soldiers were reportedly wounded in the operation, which saw the troops take control of Hildi, Balmo and Lame forest.
