The Senator representing Bayelsa-East Senatorial district, Ben Murray-Bruce says Nigerians are not corrupt.
Bruce, commonly known as the Common Sense, who said this on Tuesday argued that the Nigerian system is corrupt, not Nigerians.
“It is not Nigerians that are corrupt. It is their system that is corrupt. If you don’t change that system, you can’t ever end corruption,” he wrote via his Twitter account.
It would be recalled that in May, former British Prime Minister, David Cameron labelled Nigeria as “fantastically corrupt”.
