Nigeria’s problems due to “our sins” – Pastor Adeboye

by Chi Ibe

Nigeria’s most influential Man of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has shared his perspectives on Nigeria’s problems and how we can find solutions.

Speaking today at the 15th Holy Ghost Congress, which is holding as usual at the Redemption Camp on the Lagos/Ibadam expressway, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God said sins by Nigerians have distorted God’s plan for the nation – which is that that the people “multiply, be fruitful, have dominion, prosper and be in control. Then signs and wonders will follow.’’

Thankfully, God has plans to rebuild the nation.

“God is not just a builder, but an architect,” he said. “He has good plans for Nigeria, but somewhere along the line something tampered with the plans.

“Sin came in, the plan was distorted, God being God in his wisdom has decided to restore and rebuild the nation,”

The theme of the week-long event is ‘Signs and Wonders’.

  1. It is so remarkable that a country so evil and so backwards can have such numbers identifying with religion and have religious institutions thriving in it.

It is equally remarkable that the leaders of that community of people could attempt to explain it.
