The Nigeria Police Force has warned Biafra agitators against proceeding with the planned protest across South Eastern states.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and other Pro-Biafra groups are believed to be planning a massive protest over the detention of Nnamdi Kanu.
However, a statement released on Friday, by the Force spokesperson, Olabisi Kolawole, said the Biafra agitators should not carry out the process.
“Information available to the Nigeria Police indicates plans by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to embark on ill-advised protest using dangerous weapons across some South Eastern States.”
The statement added that any attempt by the Biafran group to perpetrate any acts of violence would be met with stiff resistance.
