No comment: Woman experiences up to 6 orgasms a day that start in her FOOT and travel up her leg

A woman in the Netherlands has developed a never-before-seen condition which meant she experienced unsolicited foot orgasms

A Dutch woman has developed a never-before-seen condition where she experienced orgasms which started in her foot.

The 55-year-old experienced the orgasms, which occurred five or six times a day, without any sexual arousal or thoughts.

The orgasmic sensation travelled up her left leg to her genital area and were just like the orgasms experienced during sex.

She is thought to be the only person in the world with the condition.

Dr Marcel Waldinger, a professor at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, studied MRI scans of the woman’s brain, and of her foot, but these revealed no abnormalities, LiveScience reports.

However, further tests uncovered some differences between the nerves of her left foot and those of her right.

Dr Waldinger told LiveScience that when he stimulated her foot with an electric current she experienced an immediate orgasmic reaction in the foot.

The researchers, who published their findings in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, believe that the foot orgasms came about as a result of a signalling mix-up in the woman’s brain.

Dr Waldinger explained that about 18 months before the problem started, the patient developed a sepsis infection and spent three weeks in intensive care.

For some of this time she was in a coma and when she woke from it, she noticed a tingling sensation in her left foot.

The researchers believe this was caused by damage to the foot’s nerve fibres.

Scientists believe the problem developed because nerve damage meant her brain became unable to differentiate between her foot and her sexual organsScientists believe the problem developed because nerve damage meant her brain became unable to differentiate between her foot and her sexual organs

They now believe the problem developed because the nerve that delivers information from the foot reaches the spinal cord at the same point as the nerve that delivers information from the genital region.

Therefore, as a result of the nerve damage, her brain became unable to differentiate between the regions.

As a result of the investigations, it was established that the woman could be treated with an anaesthetic injection in one of her spinal nerves – this stopped the orgasms altogether.

She has now not had any symptoms for nearly a year.

Dr Waldinger believes that other people may suffer from the condition, but are too embarrassed to admit it.

He added that according to medical literature, there was previously a case report of a man who’d had a foot amputation having a foot orgasm.
