Goodluck-Jonathan looking tired

President Goodluck Jonathan’s rating continues to drop according to the results of the monthly NOI Polls which gauges the “approval rating of the president, the performance of the current administration, and the situation of power supply in the country.”

The polls indicate an 8-point drop in Jonathan’s rating showing increasing dissatisfaction of Nigerians over the administration’s Transformation Agenda.

A further breakdown of the result shows only 4 out of 10 Nigerians approved of Jonathan’s performance.

Contrary to claims by the FG that most Nigerians can vouch for the administration’s performance in the power sector, over 68 per cent of respondents say power has either gotten worse or has not improved.

The polls, however, show that Jonathan’s profile continues to maintain high standing in the South South geopolitical zone of the country with 59 per cent approval rating.

The President has the lowest rating in the North Central region with an abysmal 23 per cent approval rating. This result does not come unexpected as observers have continued to express their dissatisfaction over the president’s handling of the Boko Haram security challenge which has almost brought this region to its knees economically.
