Not dead? Reports say Levi Ajuonuma is in hospital (Highly Unlikely)

There are online reports indicating that family members believe former broadcaster and general manager with national oil company NNPC, Dr. Levi Ajuonuma, may not be dead but is in a Lagos hospital. However, this is highly unlikely.

The image-maker is one of the passengers on the manifest of the ill-fated Dana aircraft that crashed today in Iju, Lagos.

This runs contrary to confirmations by the National Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and Dana Air that there are no survivors. Also, our reporters on the ground confirm that rescuers are still struggling to free victims of the crash.

A source close to the family seemed to indicate this when YNaija contacted her. “Yea apparently his son is in d hospital ooo,” she said, and promised to confirm the reports.

Efforts to reach Dana Air spokesman who confirmed the crash to us this afternoon have not been successful. Dr. Ajuonuma’s phone remains switched off at the time of filing this report and none of his family members are speaking to the press.

A BlackBerry message on his son, Obinna’s phone simply says ‘HOLYGHOST PLEASE TAKE CONTROL’, but he is not sharing any information with anyone.

  1. You didn't speak to any family member yet you say 'family reports'? Sensationalism
