A Senior Inspector in the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) was arrested after he posted naked pictures of a married woman he was having an affair with on Facebook.

Bayo Onifade, 32, of the Oyo State Command got angry after their relationship collapsed and he wanted to hurt her in the process. He was arrested for defamation of character and indecent assault of the woman.

According to reports, Onifade and the married woman both living in Saki, Oyo State, were in a secret relationship since December last year.

They were believed to have met up somewhere in the town when he used his mobile phone to take nude pictures of her, things went on till two months ago in March when she called of the relationship.

But an obsessed Onifade wasn’t ready to let go, reports say he begged to continue with the secret affair but the 27-year old mother of two refused to go on.

That was when he decided to disgrace her putting the explicit pictures online.

The Nation Newspaper said Facebook users close to the woman’s husband were said to have drawn his attention to it, a development that made him send his wife packing.

The State NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Olusegun Oluwole told reporters that Onifade has been suspended till the case is resolved.
