Officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps were earlier on Saturday, spotted scooping fuel from a broken-down petrol tanker in Ajaokuta.
The fuel tanker crashed into a mechanic workshop in the area, while swerving to avoid a truck broken down in the middle of the expressway.
Premium Times reports that some youths around the area were initially stealing fuel from the tanker before the NSCDS operatives took their turn.
The NSCDC car reportedly parked at the scene, refueled and sped away as soon as it got what it needed.
