Buhari not getting ‘tips’ from Jonathan, but OBJ’s been helping

by James Sambo

Perhaps Jonathan wants Buhari to find his own feet or he simply can’t be bothered.

President Goodluck Jonathan has been accused of not giving President-elect Muhammadu Buhari tips and pointers on how to commence his administration on May 29.

But he’s been getting help from former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and his people.

On the same day- Thursday, May 14, when Buhari’s people made the complaint, a committee from the Centre for Human Security of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, presented a five-point policy document to him at the Buhari Support Organisation office in Abuja.

After the presentation of the committee, Garba Shehu, the Director of Media and Publicity of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation, told journalists that: “Buhari regretted that the outgoing government that is supposed to give him tips on how to take off has done nothing so far.”

Furthermore, Shehu added that the President-elect “thanked the Obasanjo initiative for the gesture, assuring the committee that his incoming administration will be needing advice as time goes on.”

Former military dictators sharing tips on democracy in the world today. ‘Tis cute.
