Losing at the 2014 Channel O music and video awards did not come as a surprise to Davido.

Apparently, the artiste of the year, Davido knew before hand that he wasn’t going to win any of the five awards he was nominated for.

A little bird already informed him of how he was going to “be cheated” at the event.

He only attended to fulfil all righteousness and honor fast rising act, lil Kesh.

In a recent chat with NET, the “Aye” crooner who has won 23 of all the major music awards that needed to be won in 2014 said “I don’t want to discredit any award show, I got 23 awards this year but the one I really wanted to get was the BET and I finally got it. Somebody told that they’ve gone funny and changed the names but it’s all good I’m still cool with them, I have Channel O Music Video Awards that I have won before. So they are trying to say MTV and BET are wrong, basically 17 million views compared to 600,000 views, do the maths”

Recall that last month, a mild drama played out on twitter after the music star lost out in all the five categories he was nominated for at the Channel O music and video awards 2014.

Even Mavin boss, Don Jazzy had to declare his support for him.
