The popular social network, Twitter, went haywire on March 13, when two of the hottest couples in the ongoing Big Brother Mzansi in South Africa got their groove on in the shower as the show aired live.

The duo, Lexi and Mandla (popularly called Mandlexi) threw caution to wind as they got ‘down and dirty’ in the bathroom live.

This wasn’t the first time the couple had done ‘it’, however, a lot of viewers registered their displeasure over this act because Mandla didn’t appear to have on any form of protection. Actions such as this tends to promote unprotected sex more so in a country which records a high rate of HIV and rape cases. It is also ironic noting that one of the show sponsors is condom brand, Lovers Plus.

Outside the Big Brother house, Mandla has a girlfriend who warned him not to do anything “stupid” in a video message sent to him.
