Oshiomhole was more concerned about his people’s welfare – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday lauded outgoing governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole for providing infrastructures to the people of the state.

Buhari said this during the commissioning of the new Central Hospital in Benin.

The President said Oshiomhole opted to build roads and hospitals over a magnificent Government House.

Buhari commissioned the Upper Siluko road and the Samuel Ogbemudia College (formerly New Era College, while he also inspected the reclaimed Queen Ede Erosion site in Benin.

Buhari said, “I am very impressed with this work (hospital). I respect his (Oshiomhole) sacrifice of his personal comfort.

“Instead of building a government house, he decided to build this hospital. I think it takes courage to do what he did.

“I thank the governor for making his presence in Edo State go into history.”
