Given Banda gave a little too much and got stripped of his pastoral duties recently after impregnating his wife’s sister.

The young pastor from Crusade of God Ministries in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe received a US$2,500 fine from his in-laws when he met them in Paddonhurst suburb in Bulawayo last week to deliberate on the matter

The Nare, from the wife and her sister’s side and the Banda families met after Pastor Banda’s wife left home and headed to a yet to be ascertained destination citing embarrassment.

Brother to the pastor’s wife confirmed the development but refused to divulge further details.

“We met as families to discuss the issue you guys published. We resolved to fine (Pastor) Banda US$2,500 for the sin that he did, that is all I can say for now,” Nare said.

On the other hand, Pastor Banda said he had paid the bride price by default.
