The Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, are requiring the intervention of the Infrastructure Concession and Regulatory Commission in its bid to retrieve the N132.5bn the Federal High Court  granted them against the Federal Government for damages.

The concessionaires and operators of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two, Lagos, released a letter complaining to the Director-General of the ICRC, Mansur Ahmed that the FG had refused to obey court orders.

Signed by its chairman, Olawale Babalakin the letter read:

“We are appealing to your organisation as the custodian of concessions in Nigeria to save us from this untold and inequitable hardship. We urge you to ensure that there is immediate compliance with the agreement and the court judgments.”

The company argues that due to “the deliberate refusal of the FG to honour the agreement and the judgment of courts, we applied to courts for an assessment of damages that had flowed from the continued breach of agreements by the Federal Government, the Federal High court awarded damages in the sum of N132, 540, 580, 304 to Bi-Courtney Limited.”
