Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has landed herself in the hospital after she collided with a truck on June 8, sometime around 12:00pm (PT). According to celebrity gossip website, TMZ, the actress was driving along the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California when she ploughed into the back of the huge truck.

She and her assistant (who was in the passenger’s seat) emerged from the wreck conscious but “bleeding and bruised” according to TMZ. Though ambulances were called to the scene, only the assistant used an ambulance to get to the hospital. Both are being checked out by doctors, and so far, Lindsay is said to be “fine”.
