These photos prove that policemen attacked NSCDC boss at Ikorodu

Following the reports that the Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, Ade Abolurin, was challenged and attacked while carrying out a routine inspection of a vandal site on Friday, 22 August, Premium Times has obtained photographs from the NSCDC which prove that there was indeed a confrontation.

YNaija had earlier reported the story, which was released to the media by a spokesperson for the corps, Emmanuel Okeh.

However, spokesperson for the Lagos State police, Lelme Kolle, said it could not be true that a police officer would attack a convoy of armed civil defence personnel and soldiers.

He called it a ‘complete lie and a concocted story’, but these pictures prove that Abolurin was confronted by some policemen.

From the photos, it shows that the gun-toting Policemen were being placated by a soldier and other members of the civil defence.

  1. Well, is if d presence of an army pesonel is there. but, under his presence i wonder, how such an attack could take place reaching d level where d public will know that something serious is going on. things gets me confused about our security personels. they don’t love themselves in any way.

  2. Imagine dis unless police men called IG pipeline survelliance team;not knowing there are d main vandals.
