The female students abducted from the Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School in Ikorodu, Lagos have been rescued by the police.
The students, 3 in number, regained their freedom following the success of a manhunt launched by men of the Police Force, upon their abduction.
The girls were kidnapped on Monday, February 29 and subsequently rescued late on Saturday, March 5.
The Lagos state commissioner of police has confirmed the rescue and will address the press to that effect in the nearest future.
Meanwhile, the 15 year-old school girl, Patience Paul that was abducted by two men in Sokoto and taken to the Sultan’s palace with the intention of converting her to Islam, has also been rescued.
She was rescued from the house of a certain Malam Ibrahim. The alleged abductors and three other people have been arrested for their involvement in the crime.
Meanwhile, her brother, who is naturally ecstatic about her rescue, wrote:

Governor Tambuwal, The Sultanate council, the commissioner of police in sokoto, the Assistant commissioner of police, The justice development and peace commission, the General public, all Public social media’s, channels tv, vanguard, all Nigerian’s and other Private NGO’s both within and outside the country who have assisted in one way or the other to help me see my sister patience Paul again.
