Police in the United Kingdom had to bring traffic to a halt on a busy highway due to a search for a man’s severed penis.

40-year-old Kelvin ‘Kelly’ Hewitt had his male organ chopped off after he was reportedly caught sleeping with another man’s wife.

The horrific act is believed to have been carried out by a gipsy gang, a member of whom is married to Hewitt’s lover.

Mr. Hewitt was found lying severely injured by the road which led police to bring the busy dual carriageway to a standstill.

The victim is in hospital and is now conscious and responding. The police hope to carry out a full investigation into the incident.
