The promotion of 907 Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) officers between the ranks of Deputy Corps Commander and Deputy Route Commander has been approved by the Presidency.
The statement to this effect was signed by Bisi Kazeem, Head, Media Relations and Strategy, and issued in Abuja on Saturday, December 5.
90 of the officers were promoted from the rank of Assistant Corps Commander to the rank of Deputy Corps Commander, whille 35 Senior Route Commanders were promoted to the rank of Chief Route Commander.
24 Senior Route Commanders were promoted to the rank of Senior Route Commander, just as 758 Deputy Route Commanders were promoted to the rank of Route Commander.
Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, the Corps Marshal of the commission extended his gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for motivating his men work more.
Oyeyemi also urged the promoted officers to justify the faith that the administration showed in them by the promotion.
