President or Golfer-in-Chief of the United States?

by Itunuoluwa Adebo

President Trump headed once again to one of his golf courses again Sunday, making it his 13th visit to a golf course since becoming president.

Though his exact mission at the clubhouse was not disclosed of the Trump National Golf Club over the weekend, it is worthy of note that President Trump criticized his predecessor, President Obama for playing Golf when he should be “working” for Americans.

White House officials would not provide details about what Trump did at the clubhouse of the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, over the weekend but according to a spokesman via pool reports, he spent Saturday having golf club “meeting.”

President Trump’s first visit to a golf course since becoming President was on the 4th of February at the Trump International Golf Club in Florida. His visits to that golf course as well as the Trump National Golf Course in Jupiter, Florida, have come during his trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort.

Interestingly, this is the eight week-end that President Trump has spent in properties bearing his name in a row.
