[The Presidential Blog] Professor Osinbajo bags another Eastern title in Abia today

We know that the Vice President’s travels around the Niger-Delta and other oil producing regions of the country is serious business and that’s fine. We just cannot help but notice how much love he’s getting on these trips.

Today, the Vice President continued the administration’s interactive engagements with oil producing communities and the chosen stop is Abia State where he’s commissioned the Abia Investment House (most likely a part of the 60-day National action plan on the ease of doing business in Nigeria). He’s also engaged in a town hall alongside the Ministers of Trade and Investment, Niger Delta, Petroleum Resources and the Presidential Advisor on Amnesty, General Boro where representatives of the community, elders, women groups, youth and professionals have made robust presentations to them on the ways to create and achieve the new vision for the Niger Delta.

The Vice President’s media aide, Mr Laolu Akande claims the title was bestowed on him on behalf of the Buhari Presidency but somehow we chose not to countenance that.
