By Wilfred Okiche

African artistes in the Washington DC area of the United States of America and beyond have come together in a song titled ‘Africans’ to further spread the message of African Unity worldwide.

Harrison ‘Harry Baba’ Nwozo, Chief executive of Tribe X Entertainment and convener of the project, together with his partner DJ Manixx  involved other African acts like Tonestar (CEO, Fly Musik group), Jay Cube from the group O2, QD, rappers PSean, Blakka P, Naomi Achu, English songstress Rafiya and dancehall singer, Pa J.

Tonestar, 02, QD and Pa J are all of Nigerian origin, Blakka P is from Sierra Leone, Naomi Achu, Cameroon and Rafiya from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to Harry Baba, “African unity is a reality. The goal of the song is to show and remind ourselves how unity amongst us is an objective that is not difficult to achieve. I hope this song inspires the listeners enough to share it on every website, blog and forum, having the whole world sing along to the infectious hook.”
