Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier has been sentenced to two months to jail for two months.
The Ivorian was sentenced on Monday by a French court for assaulting a police officer.
He was also fined €600 (£520) by the Paris correctional tribunal, with a further €1,500 in costs.
The sentence is “convertible”, meaning that Aurier will almost certainly perform community service rather than actually go to jail.
