The temperatures show no sign of warming up in New York any time soon.
But Lindsay Lohan took wrapping up against the cold to the extreme on Wednesday night, when she attended a charity gala in the city wearing a white hooded fur jacket.
Posing with the hood up, Lindsay looked toasty in the jacket, before removing the outer-garment to reveal a glittering gold gown beneath.

But it seems that staying warm was on top of the actress’ agenda, as she was later seen wearing a different fur garment – a short-sleeved cream longer jacket – as she posed up with renowned film director Woody Allen.
Later in the evening, Lindsay appeared to have reached an optimum temperature as she removed her fur garments to party in the plunging gold number.
The 26-year-old actress looked back to her best in the outfit, after causing concern with her puffy face and tired and drawn appearance in court for a hearing last week.

Lindsay is still on probation stemming from her no contest plea on charges relating to a necklace theft back in 2011.
On January 30, she made a brief appearance in court where was told by the judge that she could still be found in violation of her probation – even if a jury finds her not guilty on charges relating to a car crash case from last summer.
During the same court appearance, a judge set a trial date of March 18th for the star over the case in which she is accused of lying to police and reckless driving, which she denies.

But opening up about her recent troubles at the red carpet event, held at Cipriani in the Wall Street area of Manhattan, Lindsay said she has only got through the last few months with the help of her family.
Asked what has been keeping her sane, Lindsay replied: ‘Family. You can’t get through anything without the family. Family is everything.’
Meanwhile, her career is also stalling, with her performance in Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick being slammed by critics and new movie The Canyons being rejected by trendy film festival South by South West.
The gala, which signalled the beginning of New York Fashion Week, is honouring Janet Jackson, Heidi Klum and designer Kenneth Cole for their exceptional contributions to the fight against AIDS.
And following the event, Lindsay tweeted: ‘It’s always an honor to attend the #amfAR GALA! Please help to support #AIDSresearch.’
