For those who don’t know, Reno Omokri was former President Goodluck Jonathan’s social media aide. That administration is over and we are in a new dispensation but Reno Omokri is still actively performing social media duties on behalf of his former boss and their party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Indeed, eyes have not seen and ears have not heard of this kind of loyalty. To have such a man who remains true and faithful to a chosen cause in these times is a blessing for which GEJ should be grateful.

Reno, who is also the Founder of Mind of Christ Christian Center,  while he shares his knowledge on the “mind of Christ” on Twitter never fails to squeeze in his sour disposition towards the government of the day. Yesterday, he went on another hashtag rampage when he trended the #16MonthsofAPCV16YearsofPDP on the micro-blogging platform. We would have gone through the trouble of drawing a table to perfectly illustrate both contending sides to you but we thought it best to let you read in the author’s original words.

A number of tweeps who replied to this hashtag describe it as childish but all we see here is an unfair game. Matching 16 years of work with 16 months of efforts is just baseless, but this is Reno Omokri performing social media duties, so we’ll let the man rant on in peace.
