The Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, on New Media, Reno Omokri, has committed his latest goof, which might seriously cost him.
He organized a poll on http://buildupnigeria.com, under the title, “If the Nigerian Presidential election were held today, who would you vote for between President Goodluck Jonathan and General Muhammadu Buhari?”
Omokri created the poll on Thursday, 16 October, and by Friday, 17 October, President Jonathan had 58.5%, while Muhammadu Buhari had 38.85% of the vote counts. The special assistant couldn’t be happier; as his boss was in a clear lead.
But his joy would be short lived barely 24 hours later, when on Saturday, 18 October, Buhari had 68.04% while the President had 28.77%. It was a shcoking turn of events as not only was Buhari leading Jonathan, he had almost three times’ his vote count.
Going by Omokri’s poll, if elections were held on Saturday, he would be out of a job, as Buhari would have become President of Nigeria. The Peoples Democratic Party can’t be too happy with Jonathan’s assistant.

nigerian should know there is no way GEJ can win any election in this country again now or future. All nigerian voted for him in 2011 but he has tried on his economy promise as he believe even though 90percents are wallowing in serious poverty less than 10percent are richer and richer. The worst is that as Buhari said which is correct am over 70yrs old GEJ gave room to corruption impunity insecurity poorest in education too much unemployment. Infrastructure decay 20percent health which is below average. In short all we expected for his 6yrs of his rulling too low. Nepa still 4000 mw. We need experience president at present. Buhari still better am sure he will frighting all these corrupt people. Insurgent he will stop it. GEJ has tried his best but experience not their. Pdp took advantage of him too much. South south and south east also and they alone can not win election without norther and south west states as they did in 2011 . GEJ made a mistake of consentrating on old eastern states. This will be a lesson to any one who wish to rule nigeria. All nothern states excluding 2 or 3 states are sincere with GEJ others will disapoint him. South west I don’t think they will vote for GEJ they might vote for candidates of their choice. South west if far advance than other zone. They know what they want can never vote for GEJ. Personally I like GEJ but d system of his rolling still below what nigeria can appreciate. Am sure GEJ will be disaponted in nigeria cos he has tried according to him
