The Nigerian Army on Saturday handed over rescued Chibok girl, Maryam Ali Maiyanga to Borno State Government.
Maryam was rescued in Pulka town earlier on Saturday with her 10-month-old son by troops of 121 Battalion.
Major-General Lucky Irabor, Commander of the Lafiya Dole troops handed over the rescued girl to government officials.
The state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice received the girl on behalf of the state governor, Kashim Shettima.
The Attorney General said the rescued girl will remain with the state government as there were no flights in and out of Maiduguri on Saturdays.
