With her love of revealing outfits, she’s no stranger to flashing the flesh.

And Rihanna was at it again on Friday, posing in an outfit which showed off her toned midriff.

In a photograph posted on her Instagram account, the singer looked every inch the rock star in a cropped leather top, black mini skirt and dark sunglasses.

Posing alongside a white piano, Rihanna teamed her ensemble with a chunky white beaded necklace and matching white high heels.

The star also later posted a photograph of her wearing the ensemble while sitting at a table with a girlfriend, alongside the caption: ‘Bad gals do it well! She’s my fav.’

However, the singer was not in court for boyfriend Chris Brown’s latest appearance this afternoon.

The R&B singer was ordered to return to court in June after attorney’s asked a judge to review new evidence related to allegations that he failed to complete court-ordered community service.

Chris is on five years probation after pleading guilty to assaulting his on-off-on again girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.

He was ordered to perform 180 days of community labour in Virginia as part of his probation and his lawyer Mark Geragos said the singer had completed it.

However, Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney. Mary A. Murray filed a motion outlining a series of inconsistencies with a report prepared by Richmond, Virginia police about Brown’s probation.

They claim Brown was actually in other locations when he reported service hours.

However, Mr Geragos disputes the allegations and accuses prosecutors of making ‘scurrilous, libellous and defamatory statements’ against the R&B star.

Meanwhile, Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, also spent much of the day wishing her mother Monica a happy birthday via her social networking account.

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA FENTY!!!’ she wrote on one post, while on another, she called her mother ‘Empress.’

Posting a series of photographs showing she and her mother posing together on a red carpet, she wrote: ‘She’s my rock so I hold on to she tight!!!’

RIhanna’s parents split nearly two years before she left Barbados for the States at 16.

In an interview with Oprah last year, Monica also gushed about how proud she is of her famous daughter.

‘She has remained so humble and so close to her family. She is the same Robyn to us. That is what I am very very proud of,’ she said.
