Rivers APC is clearly going through a rough patch right now (PHOTOS)

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State is struggling to stay on its feet, Daily Post reports.

According to the news site, the state’s party leaders who were against the government of Nyesom Wike have bowed to pressure.

It also reports that the state Secretariat of the party located at #43 Forces Avenue, Old GRA Port Harcourt has been abandoned and now dilapidating.

The secretariat has allegedly been covered by grass and has no power supply.

Also gathered was that the party secretariat has been unable to pay salaries of its 40 member staff.

One of the staff revealed they are being owed as much as ten months salary.

“As I am talking to you now, our Chairman (Davies Ikeanya) has relocated to Lagos. Our party Secretary is in Abuja. Our Vice Chairman has gone back to face his business. Nobody is here anymore apart from the Press (Chris Finebone) who comes occasionally.

“We have not been paid for the past ten months and nobody is telling us anything.

“Take a look at this place. Does it look like the secretariat of a party that can win a councillorship election,” he said.
