A renowned lawyer and public affairs analyst, Wale Oshunde, said there is so much expectation from Buhari’s administration stating that he is not a magician.

Today’s episode of Rubbin Minds on Channels Television, which was anchored by Ebuka Obi Uchedu, hosted two super commentators; a lawyer and analyst, Wale Oshunde, also a blogger and social commentator, Ileowo Kikiowo.

While addressing issues regarding the 8th assembly, Oshunde said Nigeria needs bills that will strengthen democratic structure.  We need bills that will put food on the table of the common man. We need quality delivery from members of the House of Representatives and the Senate,” he said.

He further stated that he believes in APC and knows how to close ranks stating that Buhari should be have the National conference report on his table soonest.

“I don’t envy the job of the President right now. I love the way the President started. He has cut the number of people in his forthcoming cabinet. He has got the physique and composure of a President. I am not the spokesman of APC, but I’m aware that the president will shock a lot of people. I am sure Buhari is aware of everything that is going on,” he added.

Also Kikiowo opined that Buhari so far have not disappointed him and that he is moving at his own pace stating that Buhari travelling around is for the benefit of the nation and he is promoting peace.

“Don’t forget Jonathan was begging to buy arms.” “All Buhari’s traveling is to protect lives and properties,” he said.

He further spoke on June 12, saying that it should be National democracy day and not May 29. “May 29th was the date given to us by the military junta. Lagos state is the only state keeping the June 12 hope alive. The man (MKO Abiola) laid down his life for democracy. I am hoping that by 2019, the issue of power would have been sorted out,” he said.
