Comedian and artiste, Tunde Ednut was the guest today on Rubbin’ Minds anchored by ex-Big Brother Nigeria housemate, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The artiste spoke about his switch from comedy to music, his music singles and his widely talked about ‘Buga Won’ video which met with widespread backlash after its release. Many fans reportedly critisized the effort as lacking in imagination and considered below par.
Ednut reacted saying he isn’t particularly sure about the concept behind the video which was directed by JJC Skills of the JJC and the 419 Squad fame.
“I really don’t know,” he said.
The comedian-cum-singer revealed that artistes exaggerate their income faking a lavish lifestyle which they cannot prove nor sustain.
Asked if he can mention any artiste who he thinks is guilty of this practice Ednut said, “Everyone knows Psquare does it. They don’t own a private jet… but remember I was a comedian though….”
