The boat mishap which occurred in Lagos yesterday is said to have claimed 11 lives with 4 more people yet to be found.

The boat was said to have been carrying 15 passengers across a body of water in the FESTAC area of Lagos when it capsized.

The incident is said to have occurred at about 11:30 p.m. and rescue workers are still scouring the area for the remaining passengers.

A call for help was sent to the Navy and the National Emergency management Agency after the accident happened.
