Grace Elebiyo, the immediate past Commissioner for Education in Kogi State has died.
Elebiyo who, before the accident, participated in Governor Idris Wada’s ongoing “thank you” tour of Kaba died along the the Kabba-Okene road today.
Reports say the accident was cause by overspeeding on the part of the victim’s driver who happened to be her son. He is presently receiving treatment at the Specialist Hospital in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
According to sources, Governor Wada who was returning from the same function saw the accident and stopped to render assistance by directing the ambulance in his convoy to take the former commissioner and her son to the hospital. But she died before getting to the hospital.
