Prophet Elijah Ola Ajanaku, former spiritual father of renowned gospel singer Tope Alabi, is dead.

The cleric, who was made popular by his mentorship of the singer and his subsequent sexual harassment claims against her, died early yesterday morning at an undisclosed private hospital.

The founder and spiritual leader of the Christ Revival Church was reported to have died in Gbongan, Osun state after a brief illness.

The cleric, known for his flamboyance and elegance, was reported to have been sick for almost two months. He was reported not to be present at the church’s anniversary which took place on 18th July.

According to reports, Tope Alabi has visited the family to pay her respects to the deceased.
