Season’s greetings! Kano gov’t releases N1.7bn for Sallah rams

Well, it is an important state occasion.

The Kano State Government has released N1.7 billion as ram bonus for civil servants this Eid-el-Kabir.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) confirms the release approved by the governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

According to a statement by the public relations officer of the Ministry of Finance, Alhaji Garba Inusa, the money had been released to ministries, departments and agencies for onward disbursement.

N520 million will be disbursed to the state civil servants, local governments will disburse N410 million, the State Primary Education Board will disburse N847 million.
