Arsenal’s Twitter Takeover this Thursday, featured three players: Chuba Akpom, Laurent Koscielny and Kieran Gibbs.

A lot of Nigerians paid attention to Akpom’s session, as they held small hopes that the striker would turn out for the Super Eagles one day.

However, when Twitter user with the name Äwais #Alexigol ♓ @akakiyani asked him where he sees himself in the next five years, the Gunner replied: “Hopefully still playing for @Arsenal and the England senior team too. I want to emulate the Arsenal legends”

When Akpom was asked about Alex Iwobi, another Arsenal player who the Nigeria Football Federation is keen on, he said: “Alex is a very good player, I grew up with him, we went to the same nursery and played for the same team from 5!”
