During the valedictory session to mark the end of the tenure of the 7th Senate, Victor Ndoma-Egba, revealed that a total of 123 bills were passed during their 4-year tenure.
The 123 bills included the 46 bills passed within the space of 10 minutes, on Wednesday, June 3.
In his valedictory speech, Senator Ndoma-Egba stated that within the same period, a total of 115 motions were considered with concomitant resolutions approved.
He said: “Despite the penchant of the executive not to comply with National Assembly resolutions, they nevertheless served as a moral compass of putting the executive in check.”
