Turai Yar'Adua and daughters

There are unconfirmed reports that the presidency has paid about N1bn to the family of late president Umar Musa Yar’Adua according to a memo reportedly obtained by an online news medium.

Reports say the fund was routed through the Katsina state government where the late president once served as a governor.

The payment reportedly includes N150m to Turai Yar’Adua, the former president’s wife, his mother, his daughters and sons.

It is not exactly clear what the purpose of this payment is but observers see it as a pay-off to members of the former first family.

President Goodluck Jonathan was the vice-president in the Yar’Adua administration and observers believed there was a rift between him and Turai during the last days of the said administration.

Late Yar’Adua was in Saudi Arabia for a long period of time receiving treatment for an ailment which later degenerated and led to his death in the Aso Rock Villa.

  1. After she ruled the treasury and sold all the 'presidential' jets even the Presidential portfolio and all the assets she should get hold of, while the dead husband was used as a time-buying strategies!

When will my people open their eyes to ask question to those stealing their lives and that of their generations unborn?
