Ifeanyi Ugwu Raphael, a lecturer in the Theatre Arts Department of the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, was reportedly caught over the weekend in a female student’s room in a sex-for-marks scandal.
Reports say the lecturer had insisted on having sex with the 400 level student (names withheld) without which she will continue to fail his course.

Sources who narrated the events leading to the randy lecturer’s exposure and show of shame, said last Friday, Mr Ifeanyi, who is working towards earning his Ph.D degree from same university, had gone to see his student with the understanding that he will come along with her exam scripts and after sleeping with her, upgrade the scores immediately.
However, unknown to him, the student had her own game plan. It was learnt that she had arranged with her male friends and neighbours to barge into her room whose door she left unlocked once she has gotten Mr Ifeanyi undressed.
The girl’s plan worked out and Ifeanyi was dragged out without any clothes on with the help of her neighbours and male friends.
Realising his game was up and the damaging effect it would have on his career, the lecturer pleaded and asked for forgiveness but the now angry group insisted on taking their pound of flesh as he was molested and told to pose for photographs as evidence of his misdeeds.
According to some students of the Theatre Arts department who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of being victimized, they said the lecturer was in the habit of blackmailing his female students into sleeping with him just as they accused him of often bragging of being untouchable because he purportedly belongs to a dreaded confraternity on campus.
The students added that for male students who fail Ifeanyi’s course, they are forced to part with five thousand (N5,000) or risk carrying over the same course.
Reacting to the allegation when contacted, Mr Ifeanyi said he had nothing to say as the school authority is handling the case.

This is nothing but a complete set up. And people usually will follow popular sentiments instead of waiting for full investigation. This lady probably had a score to settle with Ifeanyi and decided to do it this way. Now the lady is on the run and yet she claimed being raped and yet again she refused to report the matter to the police and the school authorities. The so-called neighbours who are not actually neighbours but criminals with cutlasess and guns took Mr Ifeanyi's ATM card and forced him to disclose the pin number. These criminals went straight to the banks to collect all Ifeanyi's money. They also stoles his Samsung Galaxy phone with all the cash with him and stripped him naked when in fact he has his clothes fully on before. These criminals did not only stopped at that, they made him to pose with fake examination questions produced by the lady who probably had got everything pre-arranged. This is actually the full and the original gist of this matter. This lady should come out from her hiding and produced those criminals who manhandled Ifeanyi and fully apologise for ridiculing this innocent lecturer who is well known for his displine and candour.
Wat a shameful lectural dis we teach other lectural a lesson, so dat dey we stop doing blackmail.

It’s too bad that this did not just happened to a DELSU lecturer, but he is a lecturer I know in my 1st degree university. Mr. Ifeanyi really made a very big mistake; he is a marriage man, with kids and even grand kids. Whatever that is between another’s lady’s legs shouldn’t have been a problem to him, though this should serve as a lesson to all superiors in various position who are in the business of taking advantage of people under them, your time of judgment is at hand. Outside higher institutions, in the corporate world, the boss is (sexually) harassing the female secretary, at home, Daddy is harassing the house-girl, its everywhere even in secondary schools. Go to worship centers, religious leaders did it with ladies even with marriage women! It’s high time our girl child is mentally empowered to withstand the ill-advance of these evil men.

WHY SHOULD THEY STOP IT WHEN BOTH THE STUDENT THE LECTURES ARE BOTH INVOLVED IN THE SHOW OF SHAME IN OUR TERTIARY INSTITUTION.LETS FACE REALITY, WE ALL PASSED TRU THE 4 WALLS OF EDUCATION, IF A LECTURER INSISTS ON HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH A FEMALE FOLK, THERE ARE RELEVANT QUARTERS 4 SUCH MALICIOUS ACT OK? AND NOT TRY TO DRAMATIZE THE WHOLE EPISODE! NO MAN IS A SAINT YOU KNOW?
