The cabinet reshuffle fever going around has extended to Kaduna State as Governor Mukthar Yero yesterday sacked his entire cabinet.
The governor announced the dissolution of the State Executive Council with immediate effect and ordered all the commissioners to hand over to their permanent secretaries by Friday.
Yero was sworn in 10 months ago following the death of the former governor, Patrick Yakowa, who lost his life in Bayelsa State last December when a helicopter when a helicopter conveying him and a few others crashed.
The order relieving the members of the cabinet of their duties was contained in a statement reportedly released by the Director General Media and Publicity of the state, Mr Ahmed Miyaki directed all
Governor Yero thanked the outgoing members of the council for their valuable contributions to the state and wished them success in their future endeavours in the statement.
However, no reason was given for the dissolution of the cabinet.
