#SocialMediaWeekLagos2016: Exploring the impact of technology in Africa

Social Media Week Lagos 2016, Africa’s largest technology, business, and digital media conference, will hold from February 22 to 26, 2016 at Landmark Event Centre, Water Corporation Road, VI, Lagos.

The Social Media Week is a leading news platform and worldwide conference that curates and shares the best ideas and insights into social media and technology’s impact on business, society, and culture. Informed by the global theme for 2016, the SMW Lagos theme, ‘The Networked African: Technology’s Impact on Africa (and How We Can Harness it for Good)’, will explore how mobile technology, networked creativity, data and other technologies are radically changing our daily interactions, industries and communities across Africa.

The five-day programme will kick off with a welcome event and end with a wrap-up party hosted by Red Bull. With a lot of exciting sessions, #SMWLagos2016 will be hosted by different partner organizations including Facebook, The Guardian Newspapers, StateCraft Inc, Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN), Pencom, Spinlet, Accenture, and BudgIt.

Participants can purchase the Executive VIP Badge or get the free General Campus Badge. The Executive VIP Badge offers exclusive access to all events and activities, including Executive VIP Lounge, daily #PowerUp Lunch, nightly VIP cocktails at #CirocLifeNGR Lounge, and lots more. The Early Bird Executive VIP Badge costs N35,000 till the February 1, after which it sells for N55,000.

The SMW Lagos 2016 will be hosting 150 events, 500 speakers, and more than 12,000 attendees.
