#SocialMediaWeek: Aim Higher Africa, Forbes Africa to host panel discussing technology and business

Leading education not for profit organization, Aim Higher Africa is set to launch a panel discussion during the social media week event calendar. The theme for the discussion is TECHNOLOGY AND THE YOUNGPRENEUR: FORBES- 30 UNDER 30 LEADERS USING TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINESS TO CLOSE THE POVERTY GAP.

By 2025, 75% of the global workforce will be comprised of millennials. As millennials get jobs and become leaders, they’re bringing tech-savvy ideas that are changing business.

The future of Africa’s development lies with it’s innovative Youngpreneurs, From integrating mobile apps into meetings and networking, to creating tech-centered products that are transforming lives, our youngpreneurs are creating industries that are empowering young African’s to get on the employment ladder and bridge the gap between poverty and prosperity.

Forbes West Africa Correspondent and Founder of Aim Higher Africa, Peace Hyde will host a discussion with a few members of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list to find out how they use technology and social media at work, and how they expect it will change the future of business and create more jobs to aid in the millennium development goals of Africa.

The event is scheduled for the 23rd of February 2016 at the GT Bank Hall of the Lagos Business School, Km 22 Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ajah – Lagos from 10am to 2pm.

Speakers for the event include Adebola Williams, Co Founder Red Media, Mary Ojulari, CFO CNBC and Forbes Africa, Edose Ohen, Director HPO Global Group, Rex Idiams, Founder Achievers Media and Pamela Wagner, Founder Ajala Digital.
