After staging successful shows in Calabar, Uyo and Port Harcourt, the RISE train moved to Abia State Saturday,10 September where another explosive session of the RISE National Youth Seminar, the longest standing Pan-Nigerian youth seminar was held. Venue was the Lions Hall of the Uturu Caves hotel, Uturu.

On hand to speak with and engage the thousands of young people who thronged the venue were; Chude Jideonwo, Managing Partner Red Media; Jerry Uchechukwu, founder Springs of Life International; and Folayemi Anifowoshe, Manager Community Relations and Development of LNG Nigeria limited.

Since its debut in 2007, the RISE National Youth Forum has maintained its appellation of being “the granddaddy of youth gatherings in Nigeria” with the amazing quality of guest speakers and thousands of young participants across the country.

According to its executive director, Toyosi Akerele, a Future Award winner, RISE is an institution dedicated passionately to help young people express, create and achieve their freedom in change making and leadership aspirations.
